The system will typically level to within .2″, (1/5″) over its entire radius, and requires little or no training to operate.

The level will read to 100″, (vertical height), but loses accuracy beyond 96″, and is most accurate near 0″. (This refers to vertical elevation, the level is as accurate 100 feet apart as it is with the display and reservoir side by side.)

Since large temperature changes may cause slight variations in the readings, it is best to allow 10 to 15 minutes for the level to settle out when taken from one temperature extreme to the other, and is best to leave the level in sunlight when working with it in the sun, or in shade when the work area is shaded.

A low battery will also affect accuracy, and is indicated by the “low bat” symbol in the upper left corner of the display.

The new 2014 model is equipped with an auto shut-off battery saver feature. The switch only turns the level on not off. The level will shut off by itself in 18 minutes.

All maintenance and calibration is basic and simple, and any worn or damaged components or parts can easily be replaced by the user, thus eliminating the need to return the level to the factory. (For your convenience DLS will maintain or repair the level for a minimal service charge.)

The level is not designed to operate with more than 10 foot of vertical height difference between the display and reservoir, and loses accuracy beyond 96 inches vertical height difference. Over-pressuring the display can rupture the transducer and voids the warranty.

Warranty – The warranty policy regarding Digital Leveling Systems electronic water level is as follows.

Digital Leveling Systems warrants the electronic water level against defects in material or workmanship at no charge for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Beyond 90 days components are pro-rated for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If a problem arises, the user is first instructed to contact DLS for technical assistance. If it is then determined by DLS to be a possible problem with the level, the user will be instructed to return the level to DLS. Upon inspection DLS will, at our option, repair or replace any defective components as is warranted at our discretion.

If the level is determined to be in proper working order, or damaged by the user, DLS will notify the user of any charges, before repairs are made or the level is returned.

The level is not designed to operate with more than 10 foot of vertical height difference between the display and reservoir. Exceeding this height differential will over-pressure the display and void the warranty. The display can also be over-pressured by: throwing the display, dropping a heavy object on- or stepping on the tubing near the display, freezing, pressure filling, etc. The display will not withstand a pressure surge that exceeds 5 lbs. Over-pressuring the display will rupture the transducer and voids the warranty.

Filling the level with any fluid other than RV Anti-freeze, active ingredient propylene glycol may void the warrantee.

A $49 minimum service may be charged on levels not covered under warranty.
